PlayStation 5 + Sky Broadband Hub
Works, with a couple of settings to get right

A PlayStation 5 does work on a Sky Broadband Hub, but a couple of the router's default settings cause most of the complaints we see. Fix those first and it settles down.
What it looks like when it goes wrong
- Occasional drop-outs after a power cut or a router restart.
Do these, in this order

Restart the router, wait two minutes, then restart the gadget.

Run the console's own internet connection test and note the number — that's your evidence.

Make sure the console is on the 5 GHz network, not the 2.4 GHz one.
Settings we'd recommend on the Sky Broadband Hub
- • Turn Sky Broadband Shield off temporarily if a gadget can't finish set-up.
- • Restart the hub, then the gadget — in that order, a couple of minutes apart.
Good to know about this router: Very few settings are exposed, so there is little to change when something misbehaves. Sky Broadband Shield can block set-up pages and some device services.
If none of that works
- Leave the provider's hub doing the broadband and add your own Wi-Fi on top of it — that gives you the settings this hub hides.
- If the gadget only ever sits in one spot, a wired connection is always the most reliable answer.
