We see very few problems putting a Sonos Arc on a EE Smart Hub Plus. Set it up on the main Wi-Fi name and it should simply stay put.
What it looks like when it goes wrong
- Occasional drop-outs after a power cut or a router restart.
Do these, in this order

Restart the router, wait two minutes, then restart the gadget.

Put your phone on the same Wi-Fi name as the speakers — not the guest network, and not a separate 5 GHz name.

Give your main Wi-Fi one name for both bands rather than two separate names.
Settings we'd recommend on the EE Smart Hub Plus
- • If a gadget refuses to join, ask EE support to set the hub's security to the mixed WPA2/WPA3 mode.
- • Keep any EE extender at least a room away from the hub, not next to it.
Good to know about this router: Newer EE hubs push modern security by default, which trips up some older smart-home kit. Works with EE's own Wi-Fi extenders, which create additional hand-off points.
If none of that works
- Leave the provider's hub doing the broadband and add your own Wi-Fi on top of it — that gives you the settings this hub hides.
- If the gadget only ever sits in one spot, a wired connection is always the most reliable answer.
