Router checker
Does this actually affect your router?
Scary headlines rarely apply to every model of a brand. Search by brand or model below, then double-check the exact version number and firmware before you do anything.
What this means for you: a match below doesn't automatically mean you're at risk — check the notes on each one first.
Type at least two letters. This tool only searches our published list of warnings — it never scans your network or asks for your IP address, admin password or account details.
Then check three things
- 1. The exact model and version number printed on the label — not just the brand name.
- 2. Whether that model is still getting security updates.
- 3. Whether your firmware version is one of the ones the manufacturer says is affected.
Why the exact model and firmware matter
Manufacturers usually fix a flaw in one hardware version or firmware release at a time. The same brand name can cover several different internal designs, so a warning about one version doesn't necessarily apply to another with the same name.
