Router checker

Does this actually affect your router?

Scary headlines rarely apply to every model of a brand. Search by brand or model below, then double-check the exact version number and firmware before you do anything.

What this means for you: a match below doesn't automatically mean you're at risk — check the notes on each one first.

Type at least two letters. This tool only searches our published list of warnings — it never scans your network or asks for your IP address, admin password or account details.

Then check three things

  1. 1. The exact model and version number printed on the label — not just the brand name.
  2. 2. Whether that model is still getting security updates.
  3. 3. Whether your firmware version is one of the ones the manufacturer says is affected.
Why the exact model and firmware matter

Manufacturers usually fix a flaw in one hardware version or firmware release at a time. The same brand name can cover several different internal designs, so a warning about one version doesn't necessarily apply to another with the same name.
