Plusnet: why does my broadband slow down in the evening?

Evening slowdowns split two ways. If a wired speed test is also slow between 7pm and 11pm and fine at 10am, that pattern belongs to your provider. If the wired test stays fast and only Wi-Fi devices suffer, the house is busy and the Wi-Fi is the bottleneck.
